BUILDS HISTORY

We welcome you to BUILDS and believe that you will recognize the opportunity to serve the Organization for what it truly is: an opportunity of a life time to change the landscape forever by providing service through BUILDS. This is where you will learn about BUILDS and your role in it. What we will accomplish will be a direct result of your participation, networking, support and cooperation. Just to touch a little on the history of BUILDS; the interests and concerns of the batch leaders and members, 3 years ago were represented by POLISAS ALUMNI in WhatsApp group, after going through numerous trials and tribulations the leaders,

had concurred to have a non-profitable organization or a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). Hence, it could be said that the foundation for the formation of “PERTUBUHAN ALUMNI PELAJAR-PELAJAR INDIA POLISAS, KUANTAN, PAHANG” then known as "BUILDS" acronym for 'PERTUBUHAN ALUMNI PELAJAR-PELAJAR INDIA POLISAS, KUANTAN, PAHANG successfully registered in

Registry of Societies (ROS) on 26th July 2021.

 

The 3 core objectives of the organization are;

1. To build connection and active networking among Indian Alumni,

2. To help and guide each other Alumni’s and their family members for their education, career, job opportunity, business, social & welfare and other related field,

3. To help the needy in community within our means and reach.

BUILDS is working relentlessly to harness the unity of its members. The unity and solidarity of members will be the passport for survival in the rapidly changing financial landscape. The Organization is strong because of its membership size. It must be made known here that requests, needs, wants and demands were given positive attention due to the strength of the membership size.

​

The Organization creates direction for the members and also provides a platform to voice out their grievances to both the organization, statutory authorities and others. These are brought to the members at a very competitive rate for the benefit of members. A part of the organization has an objective on Corporate Service Responsibility (CSR), these benefits are the means by which BUILDS cares for its members and their families. Many members have benefited from this program and it is anticipated that more members will subscribe to enjoy these benefits.

In August 2021, the 1st Educational Seminar was initiated by the organization, with this as a precedent numerous seminars and programs were conducted by organization. These seminars and training have certainly lifted the knowledge and awareness of the members & community to a higher level and intensity. However, it must be stressed here that training and seminars are essential to create quality and an ambiance of professionalism. The organization is prepared to fill the gaps where necessary to raise the standard of our members.

 

Looking back at the brief history in time, it exhibits that BUILDS existed to fill a need for progressively uplifting a fraternity of professional members who have taken upon themselves the responsibility in looking after the financial stability and security of thousands of graduates. But, more importantly, BUILDS has positioned itself to look forward to an era of change impounded by the consistent flow of technological advancement and the changing financial landscape.

However, the leadership has braced itself for these changes and will be prepared to transform the 120 plus membership (members) into the finest example of alumni’s. BUILDS remains committed to bring the members to a higher plateau by introducing a high level of professionalism in the business and bringing about awareness that this is hitherto a sunrise industry.

​

As BUILDS’s one of the foremost aims is to enhance the member’s benefit of the members, BUILDS is therefore committed to continuously endeavour for the best organization in order to be competitive in the oligopoly market.
