Today, It is indeed a wonderful opportunity to re-live our founding moments and all the great things accomplished by our friends, donors, community partners and members of BUILDS. It has been a year of challenges and finding solutions to ensure that we have built a strong foundation. Covid-19 Pandemic has demonstrated that the role of private foundations and philanthropies such as our role in society are now more critical and best needed more than ever. As a BUILDS’s member, we are responsible to raise funds to help BUILDS provide the needy with the charity services and support our community and our BUILDS family whenever needed. I as the President, I’m always reminded that no matter how high one goes, never ever forget the road that leads to one’s home. Like most alumni organization, I expect that BUILDS will evolve over time, bringing its resources and influences of members into new geographical reach for those in need and by supporting our various initiatives. Even in these toughest times, so to speak, we hope to achieve significant milestones. Without any hesitation, I will proudly say that we have accomplished and come this far successfully. Weldone!! & Congratulations to all!!

Again, allow me to take this opportunity to say a Million Thanks to each one of you who have been a part of our journey and contributing to success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

It’s 2022 now, a new beginning, and we are excited to kick-start 2022 with a new strategic plan. As the President, I expect all of us to reflect proudly our successes at the end of every year, even while we are projecting our future goals to achieve. I believe that we all face a transformative moment in life today, especially due to the prolonged impact of Covid-19 Pandemic to our commitments and nation in the coming years. Many non-profit organizations are introducing new ideas and innovative programs that will help advance the shared mission of improving lives of our Malaysians.
We are excited to share with you the driving force behind this plan, our Mission and Vision of BUILDS. Taking this opportunity to encourage all of you to work towards our BUILDS’s VISION which is;

Our focus should be fulfilling BUILDS MISSION which is engaging via networking to help the needy while disseminating knowledge through various programs while embracing cultural & innovative thinking. BUILDS works to enhance the lives of our Indian community mainly but not limited to evaluating and addressing community needs through strategic planning and engaging donors to good causes that matters to them. Our multi-faceted approach to philanthropy will develop as we follow our mission and fulfil our principles.

We strongly encourage donors to make effective charitable decisions through our donor-centric approach to philanthropy. We hope to grow BUILDS family by providing the diverse community needs in generations to come. Collaboration by supportive creative solutions to build our capacity in non-profitable duties and work closely with professional advisors, other non-profitable organization, and respective community leaders. These are big goals, and I believe we are well prepared to meet them because our mission drives us positively. We hope to make a commitment to our community for their well-being by being clear and transparent, integrity through honesty, ensuring accountability and responsibility. Towards excellence and maintaining the public trust, embracing diversity, and finally making philanthropy equitable for all.

In conclusion, I remain indebted to our donors, particularly our BUILDS members, and many other local and international non-profitable organization who are doing many humble and profound work.
